Savage Family Band
A band born out of a pandemic. When COVID-19 hit in March, songwriter/ guitarist Tom Savage turned to music as a way of interacting with his daughter Bella, who has been playing bass for the past two years. It was a fun way to keep them busy while he was unable to work, and she was home from school. Weekly rehearsals brought about the creation of new music that has delved into Blues, Jazz and Funk territory. Gigs were soon to follow and now there seems to be no stopping the Savage Family Band!
Tune into CFRC 101.9 FM/cfrc.ca on November 1st 2020 at 12 pm for the family friendly kick off of Shortwave Theatre Festival with the Savage Family Band featuring local musicians Tom Savage, Bella Savage and Bonz Bowering! |

Youth could select or write stories connected to a theme and perform them in any storytelling style such as traditional storytelling, singing, dancing, performing, poetry, etc. We're taking this concept and bringing it to the world of radio. Blue Canoe is proud to present Viva Voce: Haunted during the Shortwave Theatre Festival, November 1-7, on air at CFRC 101.9FM or cfrc.ca. Viva Voce Haunted features:
